Objectives
To design a security monitoring system using an ESP32 NodeMCU and an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor to detect movement within a range of up to 90 cm. To activate a 12V DC siren for 5 seconds when movement is detected. To implement an ESP32-CAM system for capturing images and sending them to Telegram during system operation. To implement a Telegram Bot with control buttons for arm and disarm functions, and to send real-time alert notifications when movement is detected.
Scope of project
The system uses ESP32 NodeMCU as the main microcontroller. An HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor is used for movement detection within a range of up to 90 cm. 12V DC siren is used as an alarm output and activates for 5 seconds when detection occurs. The system integrates ESP32-CAM for image capture and uses a Telegram Bot with inline keyboard for notifications and system control.
Project description
This project is a security monitoring system using ESP32 NodeMCU, ESP32-CAM, and an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor. The system detects objects within a programmed range of 90 cm or less. When an object is detected in ARM mode, the system activates a 12 V DC siren for 5 seconds and sends an alert notification with an image through Telegram. Users can also arm or disarm the system, check its status, and capture images manually using the Telegram Bot.
